A state budget deal has been reached, Hochul says
But it's not totally done. Lawmakers still have to sign off before they vote.

💵 Gov. Kathy HOCHUL announced “the parameter of a conceptual agreement” on a $237 billion state budget late Monday afternoon and said she expects it to pass this week.
It’s not a final budget deal. Democrats who control the Legislature still have to give it the green light, Hochul said.
But Hochul said they are all on the same page.
“We’ve proven that we can come together for the good of our state and we did,” Hochul said.
Hochul didn’t have all the details of the budget agreement, but she gave some of the broad strokes.
