A report from a congressional subcommittee finds conflicting testimony on COVID-19 between Cuomo and some of his former top aides.
That came a day before Cuomo is scheduled to testify before them in public.
Teachers suing after they were placed on leave over the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate take their case to N.Y.’s highest court this week.

👀 Cuomo’s past statements questioned in House report one day before public hearing testimony
✋ And a transcript of Cuomo’s testimony behind closed doors to the coronavirus subcommittee has now been released.
Former Gov. Andrew M. CUOMO is scheduled to testify before the U.S. House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Tuesday.
You can watch the hearing live Tuesday at 2 p.m. on this webpage.
And ahead of that testimony, that subcommittee released a 48-page report focused on Cuomo’s controversial directive on March 25, 2020 related to nursing homes.
That directive required nursing homes to accept residents from hospitals, even if they were suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.
Nursing homes were only supposed to take those residents if they had the resources to care for them and separate them from others.
