✊ It was a very active day at the Capitol, with more than a dozen groups and hundreds of advocates competing for attention from lawmakers, the media, and anyone else who would listen.
That’s not unusual for this time of year. The state budget is due at the end of next week, and everyone wants to get their final word in before a deal is struck.
Of course, if the budget is late, they may renew those efforts.
