TODAY’S CAPCON:
More N.Y. Democrats say they’re with Biden, including one who apparently wasn’t.

👀 More N.Y. Democrats publicly back Biden, including Nadler
🗣️ The president has told members of Congress he’s not leaving the race for president but that hasn’t stopped them from talking about it.
More Democrats from New York have started to fill the awkward silence left after two of their own reportedly said President Joe BIDEN should drop his reelection bid.
Often in politics, it only takes a few cracks for a dam to burst.
Think back to the downfall of former Gov. Andrew CUOMO or former Rep. George SANTOS.
And after Biden’s debate performance, those cracks began to appear. But top Democrats have been hard at work over the past week and a half to seal them up.
Senate Majority Leader Charles E. SCHUMER reiterated his support for Biden when asked Tuesday if he feels the incumbent could serve another term.
“As I’ve said before, I’m with Joe,” Schumer said and repeated that exact sentence three times in response to questions about Biden.

That could be an opportunity for Adams to get back on Biden’s good side after they had a falling out over the city’s migrant crisis.
“I’m going to be on the call,” he said. “Whatever is asked of me, I’m going to do that.”
House Democrats meanwhile met Tuesday at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee headquarters to talk about Biden’s nomination but didn’t emerge with a consensus among them.
Rep. Pete AGUILAR from California, the chairman of the caucus, wouldn’t say directly if they planned to coalesce around Biden when asked by reporters.
