🗣️ But the takeaways were very different from what we saw the day after the Biden-Trump debate in June.
I was going to start today’s CapCon by rounding up reactions to last night’s presidential debate from New York’s top political leaders and elected officials.
But, honestly, let’s not waste each other's time. The reaction from both sides of the aisle in New York can really be summed up in two sentences.
Democrats thought Vice President Kamala HARRIS did great and that former President Donald J. TRUMP spiraled.
Republicans thought Trump made a strong case against Harris and that she was weak and unprepared.
That’s it. All done.
But Republicans from New York were also outspoken about two other people: the debate’s moderators.
